As the photographer for Khalid’s Free Spirit album campaign, I captured every visual—from the cover art to music video stills and press images. Collaborating with director Emil Nava, I scouted desert locations, elevating the raw, Texan setting with cinematic lighting techniques. My streamlined approach ensured seamless integration with the film crew, while my personal rapport with Khalid allowed for intimate, evocative visuals that defined the era for his fans. ‘Free Spirit’ the official music video has amassed 10,495,740 views.
